Mermaid Isle ticks so many boxes on my dream home list – close to the water, plenty of windows to take in the stunning views, warm interiors, hot tubs outside and a little cottage for my guests and family.

She made the jewellery boards herself. Just grab a couple of boards, some foam cover in linen and voila! So simple but very elegant.

The Living Etc is a fantastic site for inspiration. The following pics are from LE member Mirka who has just finished an interior design course. She decided to experiment on her own home first and the results are truly amazing for someone so new to the game. I love the how she has played with scale. Brilliant!
Hilary from Blacklashes posted some pics of her amazing bedroom makeover she did for her parents. She has created such a lovely and fresh room. Although Hilary states she found it difficult as it was not her style she produced a room her clients desired which what makes a good designer. Congratulations Hilary on a beautiful makeover.
