Foodie Friday: Chinta Ria Restaurant

I can’t believe its Friday evening already. Today was a busy one for me as I wanted to print some new items for the market tomorrow. Also we had a late one last night which always makes you move a little slower the next day. 

Anyway this is a quick restaurant recommendation. We popped in here late last night with a group of ten people and the staff were so nice about it and the food was excellent. Now this could be because we were all starving but I don’t think so.

If you are ever in Sydney and looking for a nice place to eat near Darling Harbour but don’t want to sit on the tacky tourist strip I recommend Chinta Ria.

Friday silliness

Silliness is a must on a Friday evening. I spent the day putting together a business plan and when it came to part about operating budgets, sales forecasts and cash flow planning my mind started to wander. This arrived in my inbox and made me smile.

Nearly there

So sorry for the lack of posts of late. Hopefully I will be back on track soon. We have finally moved into an apartment in Sydney so expect some pics of our progress. I am still waiting on our broadband connection but fingers crossed it should be sometime
this week.

I’m baaaccck!

Hi All, Well I have finally returned to the world of blogging. It feels like I have been away for months and I am a little nervous as the post ideas are not flowing.

I thought I might start with a few pics from my morning walk today. I am staying in Sydney with family until we find our feet and they have a lovely bay at the end of their road to walk around.

And there are even little bowls along the way for your thirsty doggie. Very considerate.

Then the weather turned late afternoon and its absolutely lashing down now with thunder and lightning to boot!

Anyway I hope to be back to normal posting so I will see you all tomorrow.

Taking a small break

Well we are almost packed and ready for the big move to Australia. I have made a couple of big moves in my lifetime but this time was definitely more stressful due to owning a lot more stuff.
I have decided that trying to post everyday during this move is probably not very realistic. So I have decided a short break makes a lot more sense.
I will be back at the start of November.

Free interior design magazines

I am not sure if anyone wants my interior design magazines but I can’t bring myself to throw them out. I would love to take them but shipping is too expensive and we have a lot of stuff.
