Homewares

Keeping it local today with an amazing Australian design studio, Page Thirty Three. Co-fouders Bianca and Ryan have a great sense of humour which comes through in their products. Here are just a few of my favourites but the rest of their collection is so worth checking out too.

I need one of these Money Duffle Bags (preferably filled to the brim with money)

The Guitar Fly Swatter (not sure I want to swat flies with it though)

And the Burning Bank Incense Burner (Brilliant)

Shopping on Etsy can be tough as there are so many items to wade thru before you find items you like but when you do its amazing. Here is my latest list of favourites. Click here if you want a close look.

Today I want to call on you to share the love and in return I will give you a little love back. Now before this gets weird let me tell you what I mean.

We want to get the word out about our new Design By Kico textiles and celebrate securing a stall at the Dreamers Market (1st Sept) with a GIVEAWAY for you and a friend.

Our little range is starting to come together and has even grabbed the attention of some people in da biz! This is very exciting and we are so happy with the response so far. Long may it continue.

Here are the details of the GIVEAWAY –

To be in with a chance to win one of our cushion covers all you have to do is become a fan (or be a current fan) of our

DESIGN BY KICO Facebook page.

Now to increase your chances spread the word amongst your friends. If they become a fan and leave a comment ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE with your name as the referrer you will go in the draw AGAIN attached to their entry! So if their name is drawn you win too! Yay!

We will draw the winner/winners at COB on 11th June 2012.

I love a good DIY especially when its easy and doesn’t require power tools.

This DIY is so easy. All you need is some fabric paint, a spare tea towel and ear buds! I think I will have to try this on the weekend.

I love watching people make things by hand especially when you can fool yourself into thinking it looks easy enough for you to give it a try. Hmmm screen printing anyone?

Phil makes beautiful faceted vases by hand using a mould and resin.

You have to watch this video of Phil making the above vases using the set up below. Beautiful!

He also makes lampshades using the same technique.
