Nelson ‘bubble’ lamps

I love love love Nelson ‘bubble’ lamps and eventually I will buy the real deal. Nelson designed the ‘bubble’ lamps in 1947 and were produced by Howard Miller in 1952. The lamps are part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Prices start around 300 sterling (or 300 US dollars from DWR).

So I was a little excited yesterday when I spotted a lamp shade that looks a little like a bubble lamp in Homebase. Yes I said Homebase. It was 22 euro.

(I haven’t decided where to hang the lamp as yet hence its sitting on a table.)

I need that shade, but they won’t mail to U.S. Any ideas? Thanks.
