Living room love: from Rue

I am totally in love with this living room featured in the latest Rue issue. From the soft colours to the artwork and how it is arranged on the wall to the dark grey ottoman and those gorgeous lamps!

Cant wait to see issue 3! Thanks Rue.

Hi Mel, loving this magazine too – great to have you blogging again – and how is life down under? I gather Ireland isn’t getting that great a press around the world!

  3. Wow, this room is absolutely amazing. Love the picture on the back wall, could do with a little inspiration for my kitchen, how much would a picture like this cost to buy?

I am loving the massive foot stool in the centre of the room. Many homes miss out on the comfort side of things when they decide to go modern, but this is a great example of the fact that you don’t need to lose out on home comforts when updating the home.

Wow, everything co-ordinates, love it, my home used to look good like this, that was until I had two children, who seem to have broken most of the nice things that I used to possess and now I am left with mismatching and stained furniture.

Love the room, everything matches, love the lamps at either side of the main sofa, would be really proud to have a room as nice as this, I bet you are really happy with the end result.
