Paris: Marches Aux Puces de la Porte de Vanves

I am having such a great time so far in Paris. Such a wonderful city and the weather has been fantastic. I will post some pics of the stunning apartment soon but for today I have some photos of the flea market I went to this morning in Porte de Vanves.

The market is open each Saturday and Sunday of the year, holidays included, whatever the weather, with over 380 merchants.

Pieces of furniture and objects of the 18th and 19th centuries, of 1900 and Art D├ęco, of the Fifties and Seventies ; furniture of garden, ironwork and tools ; lighting ; arts of the table ; glassmaking and silverware ; old clothing and textiles; old jewellery ; cameras, gramophones and radios ; books and old papers ; currencies, medals and militaria ; paintings, drawings and engravings ; photographs and postcards ; curiosities, toys and popular art ; religious objects ; eastern arts ; african arts, etc.

You need to thrift as food and beer (D’s preferred drink, mine is wine which is priced very reasonably) is not so cheap.
