Art: Annie Kammerer Butrus

I am not sure where I stumbled upon Annie’s work exactly but I am glad I did. Annie Kammerer Butrus projects involve documenting the changes in the landscape and the emotions evoked in response to that change. The first two images are from the Bama collection which document the change in seasons and light on farms in Alabama.

The next two paintings are from the Fallen Fruit collection which were inspired by interviews and oral stories collected from Alabama farmers.

check out more of her work here.

Heather – evocative is a perfect word to describe Annie’s work. Glad you enjoy them.

Hilary – I found it hard to dislike any of her works. Amazing collection.
