…..this is where I will be blogging from in between swims and cocktails for the next ten days.

Its our little villa (and pool) in Thailand.

Half our travelling party are already there and sent this pic via text message.

And the funny thing is I have never been so broke so I guess there will be a lot of sitting by the pool.

Happy Friday everyone! Its officially the weekend here so I am relaxing with a chilled glass of white wine. We are taking it easy this weekend as we are off to Thailand on Tuesday! I can’t believe it has come around so quickly. So exciting.

This living room has all I need

Well all I need in a living room that is. Lots of natural light pouring in through floor to ceiling windows, a dark grey sofa, wood flooring, white walls, a fluffy rug, lots of art and a big old cabinet. Oh and some seating for visitors that are not too comfortable so they don’t stay too long. Only joking – I wish I had some friends to invite over.

Our Christmas table

Better late than never I say.

My mum wanted to keep the christmas table simple this year as she thinks no one really takes any notice of her fancy table settings. Not true but we usually knock something over and break it despite all being quite grown up now. Our clumsy gene seems to increase when we are all together. We all claim to have not broken a thing all year and then we get together and its almost like we are competing for the clumsy award.

So here it is – white and silver.

See the glass reindeers – I broke the antler off one of them last year but managed to super glue it back together before dinner.

Happy New Year!
