Wow! This little studio is only 16m2 – can you believe it? You would have to be very tidy and everything would have to have its place. No room for clutter here – yet it looks very cosy and lived in. Only problem – you have to pack your bed away each day. I don’t even make mine! Well except when visitors are popping over. Damn I have blown my cover.

Haven in Paris
10 11 2009Most of the (well all of the) properties on Haven In Paris, a luxury holiday rental website, are out of my price range. But that doesn’t stop me from drooling over the apartments all the same. I really love the two bedrooms below. I would sleep soundly in either one. Both rooms are part of a lovely 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the art and antique district in Paris. Ooh la la

For the files
22 10 2009I love this bedroom (spotted via the Brick House). I love the bedspread, the orange cushions, the mirrors, the purple orchids, the bottle in the window, the window and the bedside lamps. I guess you get that I like this room.

Starting a New Business
20 10 2009I was reading an article in the Guardian recently about three people who have each started up a design related company after being let go from their job. I guess we all like reading stories about people who manage to turn a situation around as it gives us hope and life doesn’t seem so scary. Don’t get me wrong – I know this is by no means easy and not an option for everyone but I still like hearing about such successes. One of the companies mentioned in the article was Anorak, who specialise in outdoor products such as travel, camping and gardening accessories.

Cosy bedrooms
21 09 2009Its one of those grey and cold Mondays where you just wish you had the day off and could spend it curled up in a cosy bed watching movies you missed at the cinema. I think it is time to pull out the winter woollies for the bed and change the summer quilt for the winter one. Here are some cosy bedrooms from LE for the inspiration files.
